JLC CLASS OF 1952 AND JBC CLASS OF 1956. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE 100TH YEAR CELEBRATION ALONG WITH MANY OTHER PEOPLE FROM OUR CLASSES. HOPE TO SEE SOME OF OUR OTHER CLASSMATES.

Harry Gilbert, taught Math from 73-90. Good Administration, good teaching staff, good supportive staff & the greatest kids in the world. If you're gonna work some place for 17 years, Southern is the place to be. Everyone showed respect to everyone, even if they didn't desreve it. I still love teaching! I learned plenty about teaching & life in general at Southern. Looking forward to 10-6-7. What to wear? I think I just threw away my "Southern Hockey high" jacket about 5 years ago & I can't fit into my football jersey.
Harry Gilbert, taught Math from 73 to 90 at Southern. Memories: Good Administration, Good teaching staff, good supportive staff & the greatest kids in the world. I still love teaching. I can't think of a better place to spend 17 years working. Overall, the friendliest place I've ever worked. I felt appreciated at SPHS. People showed everyone respect, even if they didn't deserve it. I miss those days

Doews anyone remember Gia Marie Carangi? I have looked for a dedication page for her and have been unable to find it.
What ever happened to the history that is south phila high? There is nothing about the sport of south phila high ice hockey on the web site.It would appear that this was just an oversite? How can it be that no one else even cares, It was a great part of my school years to have played for the school, and no one wants to remember those special times. Can it be? i'am sure there are people out who do remember.
Next year (2010) will mark the 60th Reunion of the class of 1950. Is there anyone working on that reunion? Is there a contact person? There may not be too many of us left for the 70th Reunion. I am willing to help if there are any others interested.

this the class of 1987 and my name is mona Lee (piedra) i live in nc and i was wondering when is it gonna be a time for us to have a class reunion and to see all of the old classmates that was in school with me now i have contacted nick dametteo and we have met for lunch and talked about this now if there is anyone out there please contact me and let me know what is going on i remember the days in dance class withMrs. Johnson and weightlifting class where i was the only girl there but it would be nice to see old friends and see what everyone is up to.contact me @ mstory4@yahoo.com with all responses thankyou very much.and also the talent shows when i did sing alot and danced too i was also a cheerleader back then.i used to go with Tony on the football team and my friends were Deborah Hagans i walked to school with everyday.
